About this opportunity

Projects should demonstrate a viable regional supply chain and high-efficiency CHP in the approximate 10–30 MWe range, with continuous low-emission operation and strong safeguards for biodiversity, water, soil carbon and cascading use of biomass. The topic budget is EUR 13.5 million, with an expected EU contribution of around EUR 6.75 million per project and about two projects funded.

Build secure and sustainable regional bioenergy value chains, turn appropriate local residues and waste into renewable heat and power, improve conversion efficiency and comply with EU sustainability requirements.
