The TÜBİTAK 1707 Order-Based R&D programme supports SMEs in converting customer needs into R&D activities and commercialisable products or processes. TÜBİTAK and the customer organisation co-finance the SME's need-driven R&D. TÜBİTAK's published 2026 calendar lists a third call period from 1 September to 13 November 2026.

Objectives

Reduce R&D and commercialisation risk for SMEs, connect innovation to confirmed customer demand and promote collaboration and risk-sharing between industrial organisations.
